24/7 PROGRAM The ACAB is kicking off our Break The 24/7 Chain program and will be giving out information on the negative aspects of having your dog chained outside all day, every day. The ACAB will be distributing educational flyers, letters and posters throughout this year. Our goal is to have a humane tethering ordinance passed.

Each year more communites are changing laws for the better. Since 2003 three states, Connecticut, California and Texas, have enacted some form of protection for dogs living chained or penned and more are trying every year. Over 110 cities and counties nationwide have now banned or limited tethering and are setting stricter laws for what is acceptable treatment for "man's best friend."
